سوالات مرتبط با نامه پذیرش (offer) دانشگاه ها

سلام 
 تفسیرتون رو درباره per year چیه؟ به نظرتون منظورش Academic year بوده؟ یه سوال دیگه اینکه  monetary compensation معادل stipend هست توی offer ها؟ 

I am pleased to be able to offer you employment as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the period of August 22, 2016 through May 12, 2017. This is a 20 hour per week appointment with a monetary compensation of $20,000 per year to support your study

من از یه دانشگاه دیگه هم offer دارم اینو نوشته (توی فایل توصیحات و نه توی offer):

The total stipend is divided by 190 days for the academic year, and paid to the graduate assistant ....

winter and spring breaks should be considered when calculating the stipend

سوالم: 1-چرا 190 مگه نه ماه نمیشه270 روز

 2- منظور از جمله دوم (ایتالیک) چی بوده
