Cartography
The Master of Cartography contains 4 semester. In each semester 30 ETCS have to be obtained. Students will study the 1st semester at TUM, the 2nd semester at TU Wien and specialise during the 3rd Semester at TU Dresden. In the 4th semester students will prepare their Master thesis, which can be done at TUM, TU Wien or TU Dresden.

اين رشته در سه دانشگاه فني مونيخ و فني وين و همچنين فني درسن ارائه ميشه كه هر ترم را در يكي از دانشگاه هاي بالا به ترتيب ابتدا دانشگاه فني مونيخ و بعدش در ترم دوم در اتريش و در نهايت در دانشگاه فني درسن در آلمان گذراده خواهد شد و تز ارشد در هر يك از سه دانشگاه به انتخاب دانشجو گذرانده ميشود.

مدارك مورد نيازOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATION:If you wish to apply for admission to the Master of Science program in Cartography (TUM, TU Wien, TU Dresden), you are requested to submit the following documents before application deadline :

[*]Printed & signed TUMonline application form (which you get after concluding TUMonline application)
[*]Current passport photo (uploaded in the TUMonline application system)
[*]Passport (digital or analog copy)
[*]Detailed curriculum vitae (digital document uploaded in the TUMonline application system)
[*]Letter of motivation (1-2 pages, digital document uploaded in the TUMonline application system): Please describe your personal reasons and your motivation for undertaking post-graduate studies in Cartography Master program at TUM – TU Vienna – TU Dresden. It is very important for us that your letter of motivation informs us about your particular interests in the field of Cartography.
[*]Two letters of recommendation must be submitted from faculty members, who are familiar with your work in the major area of your graduate study. If that work occurred some time ago, a recommendation from those people familiar with your professional performance is acceptable. (in each case the original document)
[*]Officially certified copy of complete university transcript of records including translation into English

The following needed documents can be submitted also after application deadline, latest until course start:

[*]If English is not your native language at least one of the following proofs (see also here):
- Officially certified copy of TOEFL or IELTS (not older than 2 years) or Cambridge Main Suite (only CAE and CPE) minimum scores:
# TOEFL iBT: 88, CbT: 234, PbT: 605, TOEFL ITP is not accepted (TUM-TOEFL code: 7806, dept:99)
# IELTS: 6.5
# Cambridge Main Suite: CAE or CPE: level A, B or C
- TOEFL or IELTS tests can be done worldwide, please do the test as early as possible
- [i]Plan time to repeat the test for the case of failure[/i]
- We strongly suggest to do the test already before arriving. Anyway, there is also the possibility to do the test in Germany (for payment you might need a german bank account!): check here for IELTS test dates [i](IELTS at TUM) and here for TOEFL test dates. Note that you need to proof the passed test until course start !
- [/i]TOEFL or IELTS are only valid for up to 2 years after the date of issue
- If your previous (current) university education has been conducted in English you need an official certificate from your university confirming that the language of tuition was English.
- For applicants with a German “Abitur” or with an Austrian "Matura", good results in English may also be accepted. Minimum score are “10 points” in a Leistungs- or Grundkurs within the German “Abitur” or a grade of “2” within the Austrian "Matura".

[*]Chinese, Mongolian and Vietnamese applicants must submit a valid APS certificate (original) from the German Embassy in China/Mongolia/Vietnam
