I would like to be considered as a doctoral fellow in xxx. I have bet most of my life on things that I like the most, so I was able to devote my time to my interests. During the past years, I devoted myself to humanities. So I started my studies in master in Political Geography in University of Tehran. After graduation, I noticed Human Rights as one of the most important issues at the current time and Philosophy as the base to shape any humanity rule and concept. Besides that, I have a natural tendency to philosophical thinking. Also in the recent years, I have followed activities that affect it around the world. Researching subjects like Immigration surely has a great deal of relation with the mentioned topics which I will try employ them to solve real sociological issues. During my master studies, I was settled in my own home and enjoyed a free education in the most famous Iranian university, but to continue my education abroad I would need to get an scholarship to afford my expenses and that is why I am applying for this position. 

During last years, especially after starting my master studies in humanities, I have got many ideas, some about developing existing concepts and some completely novel. I believe it comes from my critical thinking ability. This kind of thinking has helped me during my studies to solve many problems and to reach new solutions. For example, during writing my master dissertation (titled “The Pattern of Utilizing Software in Political Geography Research”) this asset could help me to relate some software and fields to reach a new application. Another quality that I believe can help me to do the prospective project is my creative writing ability. Since my early years I used to read books and write poems (At the time I have a poem book under printing). These helped me to promote my creative writing gradually. So thanks to both critical thinking and creative writing abilities, I believe I can write in many subjects in humanities based on knowing some basic concepts. Maybe it is questionable why I am interested and do scientific activities in some different humanities fields. The answer reflects my final goal. I believe in the contemporary world, Humanities can do far more than Engineering for human being to reach peace and welfare. So I try to know about different human sciences and merge them in my scientific works. As your final goal is to reach the same result, these cross each other in this project.

I believe self-dependence in scientific activities is another characteristic that can make me suitable for this project. During my master dissertation, I learned how to work independently; no one knew much about the topic around me! So I had to rely on myself, internet resources and scientific literature mostly written in English. In addition to my CV, Research Topic and referees, I was expected to send my degree certificates. Hereby it is necessary to mention that my master degree and transcripts will be issued around six months later based on the respective law, so I am ready to plight for providing it at the due date. However at the time I have my provisional degree in hand. Overall, I feel ready to conduct this position.
