Research Positions Available at the Organic Semiconductor Laboratory (OSL) - MASc and PhD
Interdisciplinary research projects in microsystems, microelectronics, and implementation of micro- and nano-engineering materials for sensor and actuator design and applications:
1) Design and fabrication of discrete wearable sensors, and transducers.
2) Implementation of polymer semiconductor material for SSI and MSI level printed electronics applications.
3) Bio-electronic devices for select target applications.
Must have a background in: microfabrication techniques, device design, numerical analysis, physical concepts of devices and microsystems.
Knowledge of/ Expertise in: CAD tools (E.g. SoftMEMS L-edit, Autocad), Spice simulation, COMSOL Multiphysics, some exposure to cleanroom processes, printed circuit boards.

A Ph.D. position is available in the field of micro-grids and grid-connected converters in the world-renowned ePOWER lab at Queen’s University.
Must have a background in: power electronics and control systems.
