من همین امشب یه ایمیل از یکی از استادا امریکایی دریافت کردم:
Dear Mahmoud,
Thank you very much for your interest. Unfortunately, I am not able to recruit from Iran for this project since its focus is on energy and president Obama recently signed the Iran Threat Reduction and Syria Human Rights Act of 2012. Our university has advised us that this act will prevent Iranian students seeking energy related graduate degrees from obtaining an F-1 student visa. Again, I am sorry for this news which I myself was very surprised to find out.. Thank you for your interest and best of luck with your endeavors.
