گاهی یه استادی طوری جواب میده که انگار نظرش منفی هم نیست مثلا میگه:
Many thanks
for your e-mail and for your interest to work with me. You have a strong
record. Unfortunately, the research funding has been extremely tight and I am
so sorry that I do not have the resources needed to support a new graduate
student.
یا یه چیزی شبیه این:
[Thank you for you interest in our
research, and congratulations for your impressive resume and strong background.
Unfortunately I wont be able to hire
new students next year, but I would like to encourage you to apply to the
Mechanical Engineering program at the University.Other professors may have
openings at the time of admission.
حالا سوال من اینه که آیا مثلا باید جواب چنین ایمیل هایی رو بدیم و از استاد تشکر کنیم؟ و بعدا هم مجددا پیگیری کنیم و با استاد در تماس باشیم؟ یا اینکه این جور جواب ها صرفا یه جور" نه " مودبانه است؟
