Regarding the sanction : I have just been informed that sanction issues will be growing. After a chat done with dean of pharmaceutical department , Monash university, to do some part of my project in pharmaceutical department I was told:
Dear Shahrouz
I’m sorry I have had some discussions with our admissions folks here and
there are almost no areas of the buildings where the regulations would allow you (Iranian background) to go so it would make undertaking PhD impossible from a logistical perspective. I am sorry, it does seem like a very narrow minded regulation, but there isn’t anything we can do about it..
P.S. The global sanction for all instruments has been applied for pharmaceutical departments up to now. . In other departments or faculties there are still chances to do your PhD.
