در مورد تمرین 1 قسمت 4 من 1 توضیح بدم
1-Quated speech:Quated speech refers to reproducing words exactly as they were originally spoken.* Quotation marks (“. . . ”) are used.for example:
a-she looked at him and said,"i will be back in 5 minutes."
in (a) Use a comma after said. Capitalize the firs word of the quoted sentence. Put the final quotation marks outside the period at the end of the sentence.
دقت کنید که در این حالت علامت ویرگول قبل ازquotation marks استفاده میشودa-she looked at him and said,"i will be back in 5 minutes."

2-reported speech:
she looked at him and said i would be back in 5 minutes.
reported speech refers to using a noun clause to report what someone has said NO quotation marks are used
if the reporting verb(the main verb of the sentence,e.g.,said) is simple past the verb in noun clause will usually also be in a past form.
در این حالت نه از ویرگول و نه ازquotation marksاستفاده میشود.
she looked at him and said i would be back in 5 minutes.
