If you are an International student, you must take the TOEFL or IELTS by December 31. IELTS is preferred over TOEFL. If you have been studying at an English speaking university for two or more years, the EECS Department will waive the TOEFL/IELTS requirement.
You do not need to submit GRE scores in order to apply to the EECS graduate program. You do need to submit GRE scores for the LGO and the Joint Program with WHOI.

Dear Sir – Your email to Prof. xxxx has been forwarded to me for response. If you want to be a student in our department you must submit a completed online application to our PhD program. We do not admit students into a terminal Master’s program. The application can be found at https://apply.eecs.mit.edu and the deadline for submitting it is December 15. If you are admitted you’ll find our faculty happy to discuss mutual research interests, however such discussions are premature at this time.

آخه یکی نیست بگه خوب کسی که مستر اونجاست خوب دیگه بالاتری وجود ندازه بره اونجا برای دکترا! مگه بره پیش خدا!
