The IMPRS “From Molecules to Organisms” is an international PhD program offered jointly by the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology, the Friedrich Miescher Laboratory and the Eberhard Karls University in Tuebingen, Germany. Students highly motivated about research should have or be about to obtain an excellent University degree (at Masters or German diploma level) in the life sciences or a related discipline.
Study Subject(s): The scholarship is provided in Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Structural biology, Molecular and cellular biology, Molecular genetics in plant and animal models, Developmental biology, Evolution, Natural variation, ecology and Genomics.
Course Level: This scholarship is for pursuing doctoral level.
Eligibility: -Applicants must hold, or expect to hold, a degree in natural or computer science from a Diplom, Masters or equivalent 4-year program.
-Students current skills and knowledge should match well to those relevant to your proposed area of doctoral research.
-Students from Bachelor courses at German universities should only apply if they can demonstrate extensive research experience and outstanding grades (graduating within the top 10% of their class).
-Applicants with degrees from non-European countries must submit a GRE General Test score.
-There is no age limit.
