To Whom May It Concern,
I am an Iranian student and want to apply for F1 visa. My wife who is pregnant wants to apply for F2 visa.
We want to attend a visa interview when my wife is pregnant. If our child will be born when me and my wife are at the clearance (administrative) check stage, please let me know whether we should attend an interview again with the presence of our child.
Yours Sincerely,
Dear Inquirer
Thank you for your email.
In case your baby is born during the period of your administrative processing (if one is required) you will need to fill out DS160 form, make payment and schedule appointment only for baby. There is no need for you and your wife to have a new interview. You can wait until your processing is finished then to bring baby for interview since issuing visa also depends on administrative processing results.
Best Regards
