Dear professor, My name is Masoud Ahmadi and I am writing to ask you if you would be willing to be my supervisor in my master degree program. I am an undergraduate student in the field of telecommunication at Shahid Beheshti University (National university of Iran), Tehran, Iran. - Submitted two papers to Wiley&Sons, Microwave and Optical Technology Letters and ACES Journal entitled "A Novel Design of Reconfigurable Low Noise Amplifier with Log-Periodic Matching Network Structures and Reduced PIN Diodes for WLAN/WiMAX Applications" and "Dual-Band Active Integrated Antenna with Electronically Controllable for S-Band Applications"
- Currently working on two other papers about medical radars with disease diagnosis application
- Highly skilled in ADS (Advanced Design System) 2008, 2009 and 2011 including Harmonic Balance, S-Param simulation, Filter designs (Butterworth,Tchebichef,....), optimization, smith chart, matching networks, layout and so on.
- Proficient in HFSS(High Frequency Structural Simulator) including different waveguides and different modes (TE, TEM and TM), transmission lines and so on.
- Designed microwave transistor narrow band amplifier at S band frequencies using transmission lines via ADS and MATLAB (algorithm), manufactured and tested them.
- Designed microwave transistor wide band amplifier in balanced configuration.
- Designed single balanced mixer with branch line coupler using ADS.
- Designed DGS (Defected Ground Structure) filters for single balanced mixer using HFSS.
- Designed oscillators at S band frequencies using ADS and MATLAB (algorithm).
- Designed power amplifiers at S band frequencies using ADS.
- Spent my undergraduation years working at Microwave Technology and Atie Dede Pardaz (ADP) or Atie Data Processing companies and also did private teaching
- Top %10 student in my class based on my GPA.
- Conducted some research about GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar), the frequency (CW) and time (impulse) domain method, Gaussian pulse in time and frequency domain and survey methodology including running simulation in HFSS using Gaussian pulse to determine layers of earth and MATLAB algorithm for mathematical aspect of the problem (wave mathematical)
